From Establishment to Growth

Support Every Step of the Way

We teach you all the industry knowledge you need to know to establish and operate your business. You will receive business establishment training, site selection and real estate training, initial training, soft opening training, grand opening training, grand opening follow-up training. However, you are not on your own after training. We will provide follow up training for two business days after Franchisee’s Franchised Business is open to the public. Ongoing training is also available as your business grows.

From startup to opening and continuing as your music school grows, we are here every step of the way. Our extensive training program includes:

Business Training

Learn more about setting up your business and how to operate a successful music school. Our training will help guide both new entrepreneurs and experienced business professionals in the world of studio ownership.

Administrative Systems and Training

Our systems have been tested and tried with decades of development and refinement. You will learn what stats to track and how to take the right action to maximize your studio enrollment and impact on your community.

Teacher Training and Lesson Plans

Many musicians who want to become music educators lack the knowledge, certifications, and qualifications in education. Some may be natural teachers, but still need guidance in pedagogy and curriculum structure. We are often asked if we provide teacher support, curriculum, and lesson plans. These are included in the teacher training so teachers have the tools they need to successfully conduct lessons, classes, rehearsals, and performances/events.

Course Development Assistance

In addition to our provided lessons and courses, teachers will learn to develop their own creative ideas and teaching approaches in an appropriate way. We believe that every music teacher is has something creative and unique to contribute, not just follow along page by page in a book. The freedom given to teachers to explore, innovate, and create new relevant classes gives students a more custom tailored and inspiring musical experience. This also adds more content to our library of ideas for other teachers to explore.

Professional Development

Ongoing training and development is important for everyone to stay relevant, be reminded of best practices, develop new skills, and learn new approaches and techniques. These are offered as part of regular meetings as well as standalone sessions. Professional Development can cover school operations, special topics, and other specific training needed for staff.

Featuring EdTechTeacher Training

Little School of Music offers a proprietary music teacher training program developed by Little School of Music and EdTechTeacher that incorporates UDL, technology, and the latest innovations in music education. Lesson plans, curriculum, and pedagogy are included.

EdTechTeacher instructors are all experienced classroom teachers and district leaders with in-depth knowledge of what really works in schools. From research-based edtech integration to organizational leadership, they are our trusted partner in sustainable improvement in teaching and learning.

Our instructors gave rave reviews about the training! They all agreed that the training was inspiring and had a good balance of instruction, independent work, and collaboration with others.

A lot of my questions/fears about group class dynamics were answered/settled. The 10-15 minute mock lesson + feedback was really helpful! Sometimes there's nothing to it but to do it so getting hands-on experience in front of qualified peers, especially after incorporating the week's worth of knowledge, helped tremendously.

- Rich Brown, Little School of Music Instructor

I'm honestly surprised that I didn't get burnt out by the end of the training. I think the variety made it so that I was still able to absorb information in the last couple day. I have had previous experiences that did not go as smoothly as this so I know how bad it can get.

- Armando Wood, Little School of Music Instructor

I connected more with the Little School of Music Staff and got to know everyone better. Also, I feel more comfortable with technology and how to appropriately incorporate it into lessons as well as planning and teaching group classes outside music ensembles and rock bands.

- Frank Browne, Little School of Music Lead Instructor

Tom (one of the trainers) has a sense of calmness that I really need in this environment. Especially when I might have gotten a little frustrated with the technology that I didn't know; his voice tone and overall demeanor is so calm and positive!!!

- Jean DeMart, Little School of Music Master Instructor

MAN!!! You're the friggin bee's knees!! 🐝 I'm blessed to have been able to attend a training from you. Thank you for what you do and for the knowledge and tools you have given all of us! The training was Dope as hell 🔥
