On a Mission for Quality Music Education
In 2005, Little School of Music opened its doors with a mission to provide quality music education. Initially teaching young children, the program evolved and became a premier music school for all ages and skill levels. The inspiration came unexpectedly, as the founder, a professional musician, realized the profound impact of music education while teaching in various settings. Driven by passion and supported by family, the founder embarked on a journey to establish the school.
Our Name
A Welcoming Environment for Everyone
The name “Little School of Music” reflected the founder’s vision of a welcoming environment for all ages. The school’s logo and atmosphere embraced this concept, fostering a sense of belonging and joy in music-making. Through community engagement and dedication, the school gained traction. Partnerships with local organizations and events showcased students’ talents, while dedicated teachers and innovative programs attracted more students.

Little School of Music became a founding school and official assessment center for the Royal Conservatory of Music Certificate Program.
2017
Little School of Music became fully accredited by the accrediting commission for schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges. (WASC)

Expansion Through Online Learning
Adapting to the challenges of the pandemic, Little School of Music embraced online learning, ensuring continuity in education and fostering resilience in students and staff. Expanding its offerings to include programs like Rockschool and participating in prestigious events like WorldStrides Heritage Festivals, the school continues to enrich students’ musical journey.
A Commitment to Excellence
Setting the Standard for Music Education
As the school grew, the need for a larger space became apparent. In 2010, a new location was established, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to accommodate the expanding student body. Little School of Music’s commitment to excellence led to a partnership with The Royal Conservatory of Music, enriching students’ learning experiences and setting a standard for music education as a Founding School and Assessment Center.
